Deryk Forster

Deryk is a Senior Geologist, Chartered with the Geological Society of London & European Geologist, with over ten years experience and has worked as a hydrogeologist, coal exploration, mining, environmental and engineering geologist in Queensland, New South Wales, the Northern Territory, the Australian Capital Territory, Oman, New Caledonia and New Zealand.

He has experience in all aspects of geological site investigations, from organisation of logistics to detailed data collection and site inspections and mapping to technical reporting, review, and provision of technical advice. He specialises in Brownfield and Greenfield site investigations, and is able to accurately assess sites to develop a geological understanding for use by other groups (civil, structural). Currently, the majority of Deryk's work is for dam concept design, detailed design, construction and upgrading.

Deryk has strong skills in GIS operation, cartography and software development.
